Houndstooth Scarf - Studio Donegal Soft Donegal

We found inspiration in the natural earthy tones of this yarn line and decided to play with a patterned houndstooth design using three colors in Studio Donegal Soft yarn. Equipment Needed
- Rigid heddle loom, at least 10” weaving width
- 8 or 7.5 dent rigid heddle
- Boat shuttle & bobbin or a stick shuttle

Warp: 3 Skeins ofStudio Donegal Soft Donegal: 5510 Smoke, ~64 yards; 5534 Ripe Wheat, ~74 yards; 5508 Oatmeal, ~74 yards
Weft: Same skeins of Studio Donegal Soft Donegal: 5510 Smoke, ~7.22 yards; 5534 Ripe Wheat, ~61 yards; 5508 Oatmeal, ~61.6 yards

Your PPIs for this project should not be more than 7. Make sure you’re being consistent. This yarn did full slightly.

Finishing
Leave fringe (warp unwoven) at least 4-5 inches long, tie your overhand knot in groups of two warp ends, then trim to your liking.
